Reviewing the progress of the Sabalan 2 project, challenges and development plans

According to Energy Press, citing public relations, today, Monday, November 16, Engineer Ahmad Dehghan met with senior managers of the company at the Sabalan Petrochemical headquarters, and the parties discussed and exchanged views on the challenges, opportunities ahead, and the progress of the Sabalan 2 project.
At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Karimi, CEO of Sabalan Petrochemical, presented a comprehensive report on the status of the projects, current activities, and upcoming plans. Referring to the significant progress of the Site 2 implementation operations, he said: Fortunately, the progress of activities at Site 2 has reached a stage where, with the continuation of the current trend and the support of all departments, we hope that this site will be officially opened in February. This is the commitment that we had made to our shareholder since the beginning of the merger, in August last year, and we are proud that we have witnessed the significant progress of this national project during this period.
Referring to the efforts of all units and the Sabalan complex, he added: Without a doubt, this achievement is the result of teamwork. Our teams are working around the clock and with full commitment, and all units are working in full coordination to achieve this goal. As the CEO, I appreciate the efforts of all colleagues and am proud to work with them.
Stating that the Sabalan 2 project is one of the symbols of domestic capability in the petrochemical industry, the CEO of Sabalan Petrochemical added: The completion of Site 2 is not just an industrial project for us; it is also a national goal and we are trying to deliver this complex in accordance with the highest engineering and safety standards. Today, we are in the final stages of this major work, and all these activities have been carried out by domestic experts at Sabalan Petrochemical.
At the end of his speech, Engineer Karimi mentioned: Our second commitment in this fiscal year was to enter the Over-the-Counter Exchange, and fortunately, Sabalan Petrochemical was accepted as the first holding company on the Over-the-Counter Exchange. It is a source of joy that today we can announce that with the cooperation and support of the entire complex, we have been able to fulfill our commitments.
Continuing the meeting, Eng. Dehghan, CEO of Sepehr Energy Holding, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the projects and appreciated the efforts of the employees and managers, and said: “I appreciate your round-the-clock efforts, the results of which we are witnessing. Certainly, as mentioned, Sabalan 2 is a national project and therefore requires special attention, in which regard I would like to point out a few points.”
