According to Energy Press, from the Ministry of Oil, Ahmad Bahush explained about this: the project to reduce flare gas emissions in 12 South Pars refineries has made good progress at the end of 2023, and we expect that with the completion of this project by the end of August 2024, the amount of flare gas emissions will increase from 8 million and 700 thousand cubic meters will reach 5 million and 300 thousand cubic meters daily. This amount has now reached 7,400,000 cubic meters per day.

He clarified: “By the order of the president and the minister of oil, according to the resolutions that were announced to the South Pars gas complex, we have entered into the three stages of purchase, implementation and auction of flare gases, and we hope that this project will be successful in the efforts and work of jihad this year in the South Pars refineries. reach a desirable end.

The CEO of South Pars Gas Complex added: Fortunately, effective measures have been taken with the aim of implementing the project in the field of buying, executing and auctioning the sale of flare gases, and according to the report, the auctioneers in 6 groups are in the stage of designing and equipping workshops It is expected that these projects will reach the operational stage by September 2025. Now, the field of purchase and execution have made good progress together and some problems will be solved by defining the correction program until May 2024.
