He said: “The creation of an energy imbalance in the country is not for the last 6 months or a year, but rather, years of activities and investments that should have been carried out in the field of gas production have been delayed. On the other hand, there were projects in the upstream sector that should have been put into operation, but there are delays in the implementation of these projects. Overall, these factors have affected the gas imbalance in the country.
Legal capacities of the Seventh Development Plan to eliminate the imbalance
Pointing out that part of the factors for the current energy imbalance in the country are due to the lack of demand management and consumption management and optimization, he said: “Very good legal capacities have been foreseen in this regard in the Seventh Development Plan.”
