Recording more than 115,000 meters of drilling in the country’s onshore and offshore oil-bearing areas

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Drilling Company, Mehran Makondi, on the occasion of the Government Week and commemoration of the martyrs Rajai and Bahonar, explained the company’s one-year performance and stated: During this period, 114 wells were completed and put into production in various oil fields of the country.
He pointed out that of these wells, 29 were development-descriptive wells and 85 were repair wells, adding: In this regard, special measures were devised to address challenges and increase productivity, which resulted in a 43.5 percent reduction in waiting times and an increase in productivity from 68 to 76 percent.
Emphasizing the support of the Ministry of Oil and the National Iranian Oil Company, the CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company stated: During this period, drilling ancillary services units provided 6,463 technical-engineering services to applicant companies, which played a key role in the final completion of development and repair wells and helped maintain, maintain, and increase production.
Key measures to boost oil and gas production: Makundi stated that with the inauguration of the 14th government, major goals such as increasing oil and gas production and reducing energy imbalance were put on the agenda, adding: The National Iranian Drilling Company, relying on the country’s largest drilling fleet and bringing gas wells to production in the onshore part of Kish Island, was able to play an effective role in reducing gas imbalance, so that so far, 9 out of a total of 13 gas wells in this location have entered production.
