Record of increase in Iran’s oil production in the last 5 years
Referring to the increase in OPEC oil production to 26.63 million barrels per day last month, Reuters announced that Iran's oil production has reached the highest level in the last 5 years.
According to Energy Press, according to this report, OPEC oil production increased in May. It seems that the increase in the exports of Nigeria and Iraq has neutralized the effect of the voluntary production reduction of some other members in the OPEC+ alliance.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) produced 26.63 million barrels per day last month, which is 145,000 barrels per day higher than April.
The increase in Iraq’s production took place in a situation where the second largest producer of OPEC, together with Kazakhstan, had promised to lower their production in the rest of this year in order to compensate for the surplus production in the past months.
