Providing more than 18 billion dollars of foreign exchange for the import of basic goods in Iran
According to Energy Press, the Central Bank announced; 4 billion 69 million dollars were provided for basic goods, 10 billion 208 million dollars for commercial goods, 353 million dollars for services, and 3 billion 435 million dollars for import versus export.
According to this Central Bank report, for the import of basic agricultural goods, including wheat, oilseeds and livestock inputs, 3 billion 328 million dollars, for medicine, pharmaceutical raw materials and medical equipment, 741 million dollars, and a total of 4 billion 69 million dollars for basic goods. And drug currency was paid at the rate of 28,500 Tomans with the aim of supporting consumers and providing access to essential goods at a cheaper price.
This report indicates that the provision of foreign exchange for “transportation and automobile industries” is equivalent to one billion and 302 million dollars, “electrical and electronic equipment industries” is equivalent to one billion and 495 million dollars, “mineral industries” is equivalent to 710 million dollars, “cars” “Production tools and equipment” equal to 830 million dollars and “textiles and clothing” equal to 456 million dollars. These industrial groups have also received 791, 160, 626, 667 and 29 million dollars respectively in foreign exchange or import against export until the end of July 11 of this year.
