Production of Nar Square Gas with Pressure Station

According to Energy Press, Mahmoud Mirbagheri, CEO of South Zagros Oil and Gas Company, said on the sidelines of a visit to reporters to the Nar Gas Pressure Station: Nar gas field was discovered in year 6 and entered the production circuit from year 6. So far, 4 wells have been drilled in the field.
He added: “Due to the natural drop in tank pressure, the gas pressure strengthening station has been set up in the field since year 4 to continue production from the field. Until the construction of the station, about half of the gas was harvested naturally, and then, by performing a press release, we were able to produce more than 5 % of the field reserves. ”
Mirbagheri said the production capacity of Nar Square gas at the beginning of the station was about 2 million cubic meters per day, which now reached about 2 million cubic meters in the cold season. According to him, talks with a domestic company are underway to implement the renovation and installation of new compressors to allow the field to be harvested at lower pressures.
“Currently, about 2 to 5 percent of the gas can be harvested,” said South Zagros CEO, referring to future plans. We intend to use the Nar Field to store natural gas after the production is completed. “Existing wells and current facilities are possible, and this is in the process of suggestion and preliminary studies.”
