The director of the 8th refinery of South Pars gas complex announced the production of more than 13 billion cubic meters of sweet gas in 9 months of this year and said: This amount of production has made a decisive contribution to the stability of gas supply to the domestic, industrial and power plant sectors of the country.

According to Energy Press, quoted from the South Pars Gas Complex Company, Hadi Chabok emphasized the importance of gas condensate production and stated: In the 9 months of this year, more than 14 million barrels of gas condensate have been produced in the eighth refinery of South Pars; A strategic product that, in addition to creating significant added value, has an effective role in the development of exports and providing sustainable feed for downstream industries and petrochemicals. Referring to the variety of by-products, he stated: This refinery manages to produce 250 tons of solid sulfur, 1,850 tons of liquid propane, 1,150 tons of liquid butane, and 2,100 tons of ethane gas on a daily basis. Products that have a special place in completing the value chain of the petrochemical industry and developing related industries in the country. The director of the 8th refinery of South Pars gas complex stated that relying on domestic power is the guarantee of production continuity, and said: Knowledge-based companies and domestic manufacturers have played an important role in maintaining the stability of production and realizing the 73% share of South Pars refineries in supplying the country’s gas by providing about 90% of the parts and strategic equipment of the refineries.
