He pointed out that due to the blockage of the discharge pipelines of the Asmari gravity coalescing tank of the desalination unit No. 3, water was practically not drained completely, causing numerous process and operational problems. He added: After conducting technical and operational investigations, a new outlet branch was constructed in the tank, and following this amendment, the aforementioned problems were resolved and the tank remained in the processing circuit with normal process conditions and at the standard water and oil levels. This measure practically prevented the cessation of production of 80,000 barrels per day and allowed production to continue from the wells within the area of ​​this unit.
