Prediction of increase in oil production in Sepehr and Jafir fields
According to Energy Press, Homayoun Kazemini, the manager of the Sepehr and Jafir field project, said regarding the increase in the production of Sepehr and Jafir fields: Phase one of these fields, which was supposed to produce 36,000 barrels per day, now has a daily production of 44,000 barrels per day.
He continued: According to our plan, in the next 4 to 5 years, we should reach 110,000 barrels per day, which will reach 55,000 to 60,000 barrels per day by the end of this year.
Kazemini added: Considering the potential we saw from the reservoir and the well, we expect to exceed 110,000 barrels of production.
He continued: According to the plan, 4 years were considered for the first phase of these fields and 6 years for the second phase, and for the second phase there are 22 wells in the Fahlian layer and 44 wells in the Seruk layer.
According to the manager of the Sepehr and Jafir field project, we are now progressing according to the plan, and the winners of the PC1, PC2 and PC3 contracts have been determined, and we are waiting for GMC to get the approval and hand over the work to the contractors and proceed according to the commitments.
