Power plants fuel supply is on track; hope for a power outage-free winter

Power plants fuel supply is on track; hope for a power outage-free winter
Forty million cubic meters of gas and 58 million liters of liquefied petroleum gas are delivered to power plants daily, and despite having 1.7 billion liters of fuel stored in tanks, the risk of winter power outages has decreased; however, the sustainability these conditions remains under assessment.

According to Energy Press, as of now, the National Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company supplies 58 million liters of oil gas, and the National Gas Company delivers 40 million cubic meters of gas to power plants daily. Although the National Gas Company’s commitment is higher than this amount the refining and distribution company has reportedly its obligations. With 1.7 liters of oil gas fuel stored in plant tanks, it seems the risk of power outages this winter is low; a stability that requires the continuation of this supply trend in the coming months.
