Power plant reserves are 80% higher this year than last year

According to Energy Press, Mohammad Sadeq Azimifar, CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company, while appreciating the employees of the National Petroleum Distribution Company for winter and Nowruz fuel supply, said: “This year, 22 billion liters of fuel were delivered to the country’s power plants, a 40 percent increase, while the number of our human resources was decreasing, and if it were not for the efforts of these dear people, we would have faced challenges in the field of electricity supply.” Power plant fuel reserves were at their lowest level, but over the past 6 months, we have witnessed record-breaking production, transmission, and distribution of products. Despite the increased consumption of diesel, today’s power plant reserves are 80 percent higher than last year.
