Power plant gas consumption exceeds 281 million cubic meters

According to Energy Press, the country’s total natural gas consumption from June 10 to June 16, 2025, in the three main sectors of power plants, major industries, and household, commercial, and small industries, was recorded at about 4 billion and 403 million cubic meters; more than 1 billion and 968 million cubic meters of gas was consumed in power plants, about 1 billion and 200 million cubic meters in major industries, and about 1 billion and 247 million cubic meters in household, commercial, and small industries.
On June 10, power plants consumed 284 million and 510 thousand cubic meters of gas. The amount of consumption in the major industries sector was 164 million and 200 thousand cubic meters, and in the household, commercial, and small industries sector was 178 million and 740 thousand cubic meters. The total gas consumption of these three sectors on this day reached 627 million and 450 thousand cubic meters.
On June 11, gas delivery to power plants increased compared to the previous day and reached 286 million and 840 thousand cubic meters. Major industries also consumed 168 million 640 thousand cubic meters of gas with a slight increase, while the consumption of the domestic and commercial sectors increased to 175 million 360 thousand cubic meters. The total gas consumption of the three main sectors on this day was recorded at 630 million 840 thousand cubic meters.
On June 12, the highest gas consumption of power plants was recorded this week at 287 million 330 thousand cubic meters. Major industries consumed 170 million 560 thousand cubic meters, and the domestic, commercial and small industries consumed 183 million 330 thousand cubic meters of gas. The total gas consumption of these three main sectors on this day reached 641 million 220 thousand cubic meters.
On June 13, power plants consumed 286 million 700 thousand cubic meters, major industries consumed 166 million 740 thousand cubic meters, and the domestic, commercial and small industries consumed 170 million 410 thousand cubic meters of gas. The total gas consumption of these three sectors on this day exceeded 623 million cubic meters.
