Due to the unprecedented increase in electricity consumption, on Wednesday, the electricity of 65 high-consuming office subscribers in Tehran was cut off due to the refusal to reduce electricity consumption.

According to the report of Energy Press, the Big Tehran Power Distribution Company announced that after the country’s electricity consumption crossed the level of 77 thousand megawatts and according to the previous warnings, while appreciating the administrative subscribers who accompanied and cooperated with this company and implemented Electricity consumption management programs and the use of self-supplying generators have made it possible to maintain the stability of the network with the aim of continuing this stability, today Wednesday; July 20; 65 office subscribers of Tehran city, who did not pay attention to the decision announced by the government board regarding the need to reduce electricity consumption by at least 30% during office hours and 60% during non-office hours, were subjected to power cuts.

This company, while appreciating the citizens of Tehran and the departments that have provided the possibility of fair distribution of energy in the network’s high load conditions with their cooperation, requested the residential and commercial subscribers of Tehran to save as much as possible and refrain from using high-consumption electrical appliances during peak load periods. Especially from 11:00 to 17:00, help your servants in providing the electricity needed by all the countrymen.

It is worth mentioning that if the administrative subscribers refuse to cooperate, in addition to the power cut, they will also be introduced to the Tehran Governorate.
