Optimization of energy consumption in National Gas Company of Iran

He stated that receiving the acceptance of the natural gas saving certificate is one of the most important energy and carbon management measures of the National Gas Company and added: The National Gas Company has succeeded in obtaining the acceptance of the natural gas saving certificate in the Iran Energy Exchange and the first offering of these certificates for the improvement plan of engine houses and 50 million cubic meters of joint connections have been made.
Kashifi stated: This action is considered an important step to encourage industries to optimize energy consumption. By creating these certificates, industries can achieve significant savings by improving their processes and reducing energy consumption, while benefiting from the financial benefits of these certificates.
The Director of Energy and Carbon of National Gas Company of Iran listed the second important step in this field is the formulation of the procedure for financing optimization projects by issuing and trading savings certificates before their realization.

The Director of Energy and Carbon of Iran National Gas Company listed the revival of Articles 26 and 57 of the Consumption Pattern Reform Law in order to guide industries to comply with the standard energy consumption criteria among other significant measures of this company and said: In this regard, obtaining approval from the Ministry of Oil and Energy before The issuance of exploitation licenses by the Ministry of Privacy is considered a necessity.
