One fifth of Iran’s domestic gas consumption belongs to Tehran and Alborz

Referring to the daily production of more than 851 million cubic meters of gas in the country, Gholamreza Koshki said according to the Energy Press report of the Ministry of Oil: This week, on average, gas consumption in the domestic and commercial sectors reached about 635 million cubic meters, which is the largest volume. Consumption on Sunday was recorded with 650 million cubic meters.

He added: Since Tuesday, with the gradual increase in temperature, the amount of gas consumption in the domestic and commercial sector has decreased and reached about 612 million cubic meters.

The head of the country’s gas management center stated: Currently, the quota of other sectors, including industries and power plants, is facing a limit in order to sustainably supply the consumption of the household sector.
Koshki said: Within 24 hours, the provinces of Tehran, Khorasan Razavi and Isfahan consumed the most gas, and Tehran and Alborz accounted for a fifth of the gas consumption in the household sector.
