In this way, each of these wells has been waiting for repairs for an average of 100 days. Considering that each well produces an average of 1,500 barrels of oil per day, a total of 46,500 barrels of oil per day have been removed from the production cycle.

According to estimates, the non-production of 46,000 barrels of crude oil per day has caused a loss of one billion dollars to the country’s oil industry. Meanwhile, Mohsen Paknejad, the Minister of Oil, has promised to increase the production of 400 thousand barrels of oil in the 14th government.
