Oil Minister: We are fully prepared for a sustainable supply of winter fuel

Energy Press reported that Mohsen Paknejad, referring to the experience of previous years and the need for intelligent management of energy resources, stated at a meeting to review winter fuel supply plans: “Sustainable supply of gas and petroleum products in the winter is one of the main priorities of the Ministry of Oil, and accordingly, preventive and operational measures have been taken for months to increase the readiness of infrastructure, strengthen fuel reserves, and improve coordination between different sectors.”
Stating that fuel production, transportation, and distribution in the country are continuously monitored, he added: “Fortunately, thanks to the efforts of employees of companies affiliated with the Ministry of Oil, power plant oil and gas reserves are in a favorable condition, and fuel delivery to power plants is taking place according to plan and even beyond expectations, which plays an important role in the stability of the country’s electricity network during the cold days of the year.”
The Minister of Oil also expressed his gratitude to the oil industry employees across the country and stated: “The employees of this industry in the production, refining, transmission, and distribution sectors, with a spirit of jihad and high responsibility, work day and night to provide the energy needed by the people, and the result of these efforts is an increase in the reliability factor in the supply of winter fuel.”
