Oil Minister: Recruitment in the oil industry should be done in a competitive and fair environment

According to Energy Press, Mohsen Paknejad, in an interview with Shana reporter, referring to his visit to Tehran Petroleum Faculty today (Sunday, December 16), said: On the occasion of Student Day and the commemoration of the three martyred students of 1953, I took the opportunity to serve the students, professors, and faculty members of Tehran Petroleum Faculty. This visit was an opportunity to get to know closely some of the challenges and concerns of these dear ones and, God willing, with the cooperation of other colleagues, we will take steps to resolve them.
Referring to the urgent need of the oil industry for young and specialized personnel, he said: The oil industry, as a great economic advantage of the country, needs to benefit from the capabilities of graduates of prestigious universities such as the Faculty of Petroleum and other faculties affiliated with the University of Petroleum Industry.
Creating a competitive environment to attract graduates to the oil industry
The Minister of Oil stated about the key role of the University of Petroleum Industry in training and developing specialized personnel: This university has a very good reputation, and many of my colleagues, including a large part of today’s senior managers in the oil industry, are graduates of this university in previous years.
