Oil Minister announces increase in fuel deliveries to power plants

According to Energy Press, Abbas Aliabadi, in a television interview, stated that the fuel imbalance problem has improved in recent days and said: “Diesel deliveries are reaching the mark of about 50 million liters per day. The higher we go, the faster we can fill the tanks.” According to him, the situation in the gas delivery sector has also improved and we have now reached over 180 million cubic meters, which is commendable. Mohsen Paknejad, the Minister of Oil, also recently announced a more than 100 percent increase in oil and gas deliveries to power plants during the first 25 days of Aban and announced: “Oil and gas production has increased in the country over the past three months, and raw gas production, i.e. the gas that is produced in the upstream oil sector before being delivered to refineries, has also increased by 30 million cubic meters. All of these increases have been achieved over the past two and a half months, and these increases are gradually continuing.”
