Official selling price of Iranian oil in January 2025
According to Energy Press, the selling prices of Iranian crude oil in the first month of 2025 were announced by the International Affairs Department of the National Iranian Oil Company. Accordingly, “Iranian light crude oil” will be offered in the markets of northwestern Europe and South Africa in January at a price of $2.7 lower than the price of North Sea Brent oil, while “Iranian heavy crude oil” will be priced at a price of $4.5 lower than the price of North Sea Brent oil in these markets this month. The price of “Iranian light oil” will also be offered in these markets at a price of $4.7 lower than the price of Brent oil.
The prices of “light”, “heavy” and “light” Iranian oil in the Mediterranean market will be $2.6, $4.7 and $4.6 lower than the price of North Sea Brent oil, respectively.
