New achievement in South Pars; Well 9 is ready for sustainable exploitation

These measures have paved the way for the sustainable and safe exploitation of the ninth well, and the daily production of Phase 11 has exceeded 22 million cubic meters of enriched gas.” Ali Nadiran, the executive of the South Pars Phase 11 development plan at Petropars Group, continued: “The ninth well was drilled to a depth of more than 4,250 meters in the Kangan-Dalan reservoir layers. With the careful implementation of additional operations including meshing, acidizing, and post-acid cleaning, this well was ready for sustainable production. This achievement demonstrated the capabilities of Iranian engineers in developing the country’s strategic fields.”
