National Gas Company’s measures to ensure the stability of the gas network during cold days
The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company announced the necessary measures and arrangements to maintain the stability of the country's gas network during the cold days of this week and emphasized: Dear compatriots, considering the increasing cold weather, please manage consumption and support this company in providing the best possible gas to all regions of the country.

According to Energy Press, Saeed Tavakoli referred to the arrival of a cold high-pressure system in the country and the Meteorological Organization’s forecast of a temperature drop of up to 15 degrees and the announcement of a warning of snowfall and frost, and stated: “My colleagues in all departments of the National Iranian Gas Company are doing their best for the welfare of the people during the cold days of the year, just like the previous cold days in the country.” Stating that this year’s cold weather began much earlier than in recent years, in November, and has been stable for most days so far, he said: “Despite this, we witnessed an increase in raw gas production and, as a result, in the processing and transmission of sweet gas in the winter of 1403 and set new records.” The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company referred to the record production of 880 million cubic meters of sweet gas on February 13 and stated: “With the persistence of cold weather in the country, we are witnessing an increase in household consumption, so that for 29 days of February, household, commercial, and industrial consumption exceeded 600 million cubic meters, but there was not the slightest challenge in network stability.”
