MP: Iranian oil has customers despite sanctions; trigger mechanism is ineffective

According to Energy Press, Hassan Ali Akhlaqi Amiri, a representative of the people of Mashhad and Kalat in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, referring to the news of the activation of the trigger mechanism, said: Although the Europeans did not fulfill their obligations under the JCPOA and today the Iranian nation is indebted to them, they have shamelessly pursued the entire issue of the trigger mechanism.
He continued: The reality is that the trigger mechanism is a tired scarecrow that is unable to bring the Iranian nation to its knees and hit it; because Iran has learned ways to circumvent the cruel sanctions for years and knows how to take the path forward.
This representative of the House of Representatives emphasized: The trigger mechanism does not have much impact on the country’s market-based economy. Because we have endured the toughest sanctions from the United States and the Western world for 47 years.
According to him, the trigger mechanism psychologically affects the market and economy for a few days, which is manageable; therefore, dear people should not worry.
The member of the Parliament’s Cultural Commission continued: “Today, emerging powers have emerged in the world, and the Islamic Republic is actively in touch with them. Membership in the BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and generally in touch with the Eastern Bloc leave room for progress for the country’s economic affairs.”
