Motor gasoline production increased at Tehran refinery

According to Energy Press, citing Tehran Oil Refining Company, Abbas Mohseni Nikogoftar, referring to the fact that more than one million liters of gasoline were added to the daily gasoline production program by complying with quality standards, said: “In line with the statements of the Supreme Leader and in order to synergize with the production programs of the National Iranian Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company, this company has put on the agenda the purchase of light naphtha from the Persian Gulf Star Refinery in a technological and innovative measure to use the empty capacities of the isomerization unit of the Tehran Oil Refining Company, optimize and increase the quantity of gasoline products.” Referring to the increase in gasoline production by Tehran Oil Refining Company in recent months, he said: “If the light naphtha product from the Persian Gulf Star Refinery continues to be received, more than one million liters will be added to the daily gasoline production program.”
