Director General of Water and Wastewater Health Office of Abfay said: In order to improve the quality of drinking water, the installation, commissioning and calibration of online systems for measuring residual free chlorine at border terminals have been done.

According to Energy Press, Ahmed Montazeri, the Director General of Water and Wastewater Sanitation Office of the country’s Water Authority, announced the special monitoring of the health and quality of drinking water in 9 border terminals of Mirjaveh, Rimdan, Chazaba, Shalamcheh, Khosravi, Bashmaq, Tamrchin, Mehran and Dogharon and said: From May of this year, meetings for special planning for the organization, coordination and synergy of the monitoring centers of ABFA companies and health centers in the field of expected activities in order to provide safe and sanitary drinking water for pilgrims in the border cities hosting the Arbaeen ceremony at the place of the water engineering company and Sewage of the country was held.
Stating that a joint document between the two Ministries of Energy and Health has been drawn up regarding the management and health of mobile water tankers, Montazeri said: holding training sessions for all water companies in the country regarding familiarization and preparation with the agreement document “Management and Health of Mobile Water Tankers” , revising and formulating guidelines for the expected actions for monitoring water and sewage health and holding two specialized training workshops for managers and experts effective in the implementation of water and sewage quality monitoring and monitoring programs were other measures that were taken to improve the monitoring of water and sewage as much as possible. The quality of drinking water was measured during the days of Arbaeen.
