Modernization of Isfahan Refinery Control Systems in Final Stages

According to Energy Press, quoting Isfahan Oil Refining Company, Ahmadreza Shafiei considered the modernization of control systems and ensuring sustainable production as one of the main priorities of the Isfahan Refinery and stated: By utilizing the refinery’s expert human resources, selecting modern and accurate instrumentation systems and equipment in line with the latest international standards, efforts are being made to achieve the main goals of this project, namely increasing the production efficiency of the operational units of the Northern Refinery with the continuation of activities.
Stating that the construction of all buildings and control centers of this project is in the final stages and the necessary infrastructure to transmit signals from new equipment to operational locations is also being installed, he added: According to forecasts, the first operational units will enter the exploitation phase in the Fajr decade of next year, and the other units will be gradually equipped with new equipment and launched in accordance with the Isfahan Refinery’s overhaul plan.
Achieving international standards in the production of precision instrument equipment
Mohsen Moradmand, Head of Research and Technology of Isfahan Oil Refining Company, also announced the operational testing of several important precision instrument equipment manufactured domestically in this company, and said: This equipment was designed and manufactured by Mashal Pouya Company relying on domestic capacity, and valid explosion-proof certificates have been received for this equipment.
