Members of the Iranian parliament opposed the payment of gasoline subsidies to national cards
Mohsen Zanganeh, the spokesperson of the 7th Development Plan Consolidation Commission, said: The proposal to oblige the government in the 7th Development Plan to deposit the gasoline subsidy to the National Card of individuals was not voted in the Consolidation Commission.
In the bill, it was proposed that the government is allowed to make a decision regarding the subsidy of energy carriers and how to pay them to people, cars, etc., and this issue was voted on in the Consolidation Commission. It is also important to pay attention to the fact that the government had this permission before in the subsidy targeting law.
According to the decision of the Consolidation Commission, the price of subsidized gasoline should not change during the 7th plan, but the quota amount is at the disposal of the government.
