Meeting of the Heads of State focused on solutions to address the country’s main imbalances

According to Energy Press, citing the Presidential Information Center, in the meeting, which was held on Tuesday evening (January 1) and hosted by President Masoud Pezzekian and attended by Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, Head of the Judiciary, and a group of managers of economic ministries, Seyyed Hamid Pourmohammadi, Head of the Planning and Budget Organization, presented a detailed report on the country’s main imbalances and their reasons in the budget, energy, banks, funds, and water sectors, and then the government’s plans and strategies for resolving these imbalances were reviewed.
In this meeting, it was decided to place the issue of imbalances in the energy sector as a priority issue for the country-centered meetings of the heads of the three branches of government so that the obstacles to the implementation of the government’s operational plans to resolve these problems are reviewed and resolved as soon as possible.
