Major repairs of the Izomax unit of Isfahan Refinery
For the first time, during the overhaul of the Isomax Unit 1, internal components of the reactors of this unit will be removed, rebuilt, and installed, which will play an important role in improving processes and productivity.
According to Energy Press, major repairs of these units are carried out every 3 years at the Isfahan Refinery, he said: The Izomax unit is one of the refinery’s catalytic units from which light crude oil cuts such as diesel are produced. The major repairs of this refinery unit were supposed to be carried out in May next year, but due to the important role of the Isfahan Refinery in supplying fuel to the country and resolving fuel imbalances, part of the major repairs of the company’s units were postponed to February, and part will be carried out in May.
