Major repairs of Ilam Petrochemical Plant successfully completed

According to Energy Press, Yousef Sharifi, CEO of Ilam Petrochemical Company, stated: The major repairs of the Ilam Petrochemical Complex were carried out from September 20 to 21 with the aim of improving productivity and ensuring the stable operation of the equipment with careful planning and extensive cooperation of various units.
He added: This 18-day project, which included various units, especially olefin, SRU, and heavy polyethylene, was successfully implemented despite technical challenges and difficult operational conditions, with the round-the-clock efforts of the staff and complete coordination of the teams.
Sharifi, noting that a total of 6,111 activities were carried out in the form of 102,781 person-hours, of which 5,307 were planned activities and 84 were unplanned activities, continued: Daily productivity of person-hours of work increased from 2,597 last year to 5,710 this year.
The CEO of Ilam Petrochemical Company stated: “The duration of major repairs this year decreased by 71% compared to the previous year, while the volume of activities increased by 49%, which indicates that the concentration of forces and the intensity of daily activities were almost double that of last year.”
