Liquid fuel delivery to power plants increased by 6 billion liters

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Petroleum Products Distribution Company, Keramat Weiskarmi stated on Thursday (March 6) at a meeting of the managers of the headquarters and 37 distribution regions, which was held to explain policies and make the necessary coordination to facilitate the supply and distribution of fuel during the Nowruz holidays: Since the beginning of this year, 11 billion and 970 million liters of oil and gas and 8 billion and 830 million liters of fuel oil have been delivered to the country’s power plants.
Referring to the 33 percent increase in power plant liquid fuel consumption in 1403, he said: This year, due to the early cold and harsh winter conditions, power plants have consumed 2 billion and 200 million liters of oil and gas and 2 billion and 900 million liters of fuel oil, more than last year.
The CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Products Distribution Company then provided the necessary guidelines to the company’s managers, in order to ensure that the stations are as ready as possible to provide services and supply the fuel needed by compatriots. He emphasized the need for further coordination and action by headquarters and operational units to resolve possible problems and complete the required equipment in the areas of CNG and smart fuel cards.
