Iran’s share of 0.2 percent of world gas trade
According to Energy Press, Javad Nofarsti said in a press conference, referring to the gas imbalance and the impossibility of exporting in the country: Suppose we do not have any imbalance, the issue of gas in our country is beyond the imbalance of supply and demand.
He added: The goal of gas export at the end of the third program in 2014 was 100 million cubic meters per day, now 10 years have passed since that time, we are still exporting 9 to 10 million cubic meters as 10 years ago.
This energy expert said: We now export about 35 to 40 million cubic meters per day to Turkey and Iraq. Honestly, our share in the world’s gas trade is below 0.2%, and it is not an honor that we have the largest gas network. All villages have been supplied with gas.
