Iran’s one billion share of Indonesia’s imports
Director General of the East Asia and Pacific Office of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, stating that the Indonesian market has 270 billion dollars of imports, of which Iran has less than a billion dollars, said: We have tried to create a market for Iranian products with the preferential trade agreement between Iran and Indonesia.
According to Energy Press, in a radio interview, Kaveh Deliri stated that the preferential trade agreement between Iran and Indonesia had remained silent for about eight years and the negotiations needed to be revived. It took years.
According to him, the legal procedures for the implementation of this agreement have been completed in Iran, and it was submitted to the parliament under the title of a bill by the government and was approved by the members of the parliament. This legal process continues until full implementation.
Stating that the Indonesian market has 270 billion dollars of imports, of which Iran has a share of less than 1 billion dollars, Deliri said: We have tried to create a market for Iranian products with this agreement.
