Iran’s Oil Minister: Trump cannot stop our oil exports

According to Energy Press, in today’s public meeting of the Islamic Council, Javad Oji, while presenting a report on the latest state of gasoline and diesel production to the representatives, said: I will first give a summary of the state of the oil and gas industry at the beginning of the 13th government. At the beginning of the popular government, fuel shortages plagued the oil ministry. The goals of the 6th development plan and the investment field had not been realized and everything was tied to the lifting of sanctions. We took over the oil ministry in a situation where our daily production had reached 2.1 million barrels and our oil exports had reached the lowest rate in the last decade. The situation of collecting oil revenues was also critical. We had a deficit of more than 400 hemats in providing targeted sources of subsidies and public resources of the government.

He further stated: We had about 87 million barrels of oil on the water, of which 30 million were heavy and extra heavy oil. We did not have any sales in the discussion of heavy and extra heavy oil at the beginning of the 13th government. The semi-finished plans of the megalopolis remained undecided. On the other hand, the capacity of capable domestic companies was not used because they did not believe in the country. We were faced with the problem of fuel supply, as we experienced the shutdown of power plants in the winter of 2019. The gas storage plans were abandoned, the joint field development plans were neglected. In the body of the oil industry, the forces were unmotivated and disillusioned. In this situation, the People’s Government and the Ministry of Oil started their work in September 1400.

The Minister of Oil further stated: In these three years, by the grace of God and with jihadi work and round-the-clock work, the country’s crude oil production increased by more than 1.4 million barrels. The conclusion of the investment contract was followed seriously with respect to domestic contractors. Despite more than 600 new sanctions on the export of oil and petrochemical products, today we are witnessing a jump in the export of oil and the collection of the country’s demands. As the Minister of Oil, I declare that we are reaching the situation before the cruel sanctions and we have come close to it. We have no problem in collecting our claims. The amount of our oil exports has tripled compared to the beginning of the government and the collection of foreign exchange income has also increased.

Oji stated: With the measures taken by the people’s government in the field of oil industry and the rail laying that has been done in the field of oil and agricultural products export, I must announce that any government that comes to work in America cannot prevent oil export and production. become the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Minister of Oil continued to emphasize: Another important issue that the Ministry of Oil paid attention to was the strengthening of the country’s defense base. Another measure taken was the increase in gas production. During the last three years, more than 50 million cubic meters have been added to the country’s gas production. A 10-fold increase in the collection of flare gases, an increase of 27,000 barrels in the capacity of refineries over the past three years, a 40% increase in natural gas storage, a two-fold increase in LPG gas exports and gas supply to 50 cities and 6,700 villages and 210,000 industrial units and 20 The power plant is one of the measures taken by the Ministry of Petroleum during these three years.
