An energy expert stated:
Iran’s government’s positive actions in oil marketing were fruitful
According to Energy Press, Iran’s oil market has experienced many ups and downs for years, and in the meantime, it has safely passed through big bumps and has been able to continue oil despite the difficulties ahead, at the head of which is the formidable monster of sanctions. present itself to the world and have an active presence in the global oil markets.
Although the sanctions have created a big obstacle to the development of Iran’s oil fields and exports, the policies to circumvent the sanctions have not been less effective; In such a way that Iran has now managed to set a great record in exporting its oil to China.
Recently, Kepler announced the historical record of daily export of more than 1.8 million barrels of Iranian oil to China this month. In October, Iran was the largest exporter of oil to China after Russia and even surpassed Saudi Arabia by a significant margin.
This jump in oil exports shows that the policies adopted in the fight against sanctions and the expansion of oil markets have been effective to the extent that Iran has now surpassed Saudi Arabia in oil exports to China. The average daily export of Iranian oil to China in the 10 months of this year was 1,235,000 barrels, which is 84% more than the same period last year.
Mehdi Hashemzadeh, an energy expert, in a conversation with Energy Press, referring to Iran’s oil export record to China, said: Despite all the criticisms of the government, it must be said that it has taken good measures regarding oil market development.
He continued: Iran’s oil markets have made good progress compared to five years ago, and several methods have been used to neutralize the sanctions, one of which is offshore refineries that exist in Venezuela, Syria, and Africa. Production in Venezuelan refineries is currently between 300 and 400 barrels, which will reach 800,000 barrels in the future, which is a good thing considering the lifting of Venezuela’s oil sanctions.
