Stating that the trend of fuel consumption in the country’s air fleet is increasing every year, he added: The fuel rate for domestic airlines is calculated as 600 Tomans based on the 2014 resolution of the Council of Ministers and as a subsidy, and for foreign airlines and cargo flights, it is calculated freely. The CEO of Iran’s National Oil Products Distribution Company stated: In 2022, we have delivered more than 1 billion 467 million liters of aviation fuel at the rate of 600 Tomans to domestic airlines, and also 107 million liters of fuel to foreign airlines and cargo planes during this period.
