Iran and Russia emphasize accelerating implementation of Joint Economic Commission resolutions

According to Energy Press, a meeting to follow up on the six-month performance of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding of the 18th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission was held at the Kushk complex of the Ministry of Oil with the presence of representatives of executive agencies and related ministries. The meeting, chaired by Seyyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi, Deputy Minister of Oil for International Affairs and Trade and Secretary of the Iranian side of the Joint Commission, was held with the aim of reviewing the progress of cooperation, reviewing agreements, and coordinating to accelerate the implementation of the approvals. The latest status of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields was reviewed and exchanged. At this meeting, representatives of various agencies presented reports on the implementation process of the approvals of the 18th Commission and presented their views and suggestions regarding the implementation of projects, removing current obstacles, and expanding economic and technical cooperation between Tehran and Moscow. Technical and economic issues related to the implementation of the two countries’ agencies within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding were also reviewed.
