Infrastructure for gas export to Oman will be provided
According to Energy Press, from the Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company, Reza Noshadi stated that the National Iranian Gas Company has brought all its capacity to the field for the development of energy infrastructure in the coasts of Makran, and continued: In line with the document on the development of the coastal area of Makran, so far Huge and profitable gas projects have been implemented for the cities of Chabahar, Kanarak, Jask, Sirik, Koh Mubarak and Minab in the two provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan and Hormozgan.
Creating infrastructure for gas export to Oman
He announced the creation of the necessary infrastructure for the export of gas to Oman as one of the main goals of the “Minab-Sirik-Kuh Mubarak Gas Pipeline” project and said: The first scope of this project is the 42-inch Minab-Sirik pipeline with a length of 120 kilometers. It is branched off from the seventh national gas pipeline and by injecting gas into it in the near future, the industries of eastern Hormozgan province will benefit from the stable blessing of gas.
According to Noshadi, gas supply to the cities, villages and industries of the cities of Minab, Sirik and Grouk industrial area and Kohestak power plant are among the benefits of the implementation of the Minab Sirik project.
The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company explained about the construction process of the second section of this project called “42-inch Sirik-Kuh Mubarak gas pipeline” which will be put into operation by the end of this year. transfers to the Mubarak Mountain area near the city of Jask (the point of exit and export of gas to the country of Oman).
