Increasing the country’s gas production by 80 million cubic feet per day

According to Energy Press, citing Petropars Group, Hamidreza Saghafi, CEO of the group, referring to the technical complexities of drilling this well, stated: This well was successfully drilled in one of the most difficult geological areas of the reservoir, at a depth of 4,640 meters and despite numerous faults and fractures, relying on the knowledge of Iranian engineers, by PESCO, a subsidiary of Petropars Group, and with the effective support of Pars Oil and Gas Company as the employer.
He emphasized: Without the sincere support, professional trust, and unwavering support of the esteemed employer, it would not have been possible to overcome the complex challenges of this well.
The CEO of Petropars continued: The drilling problems in this well were carefully analyzed and documented as lessons learned so that in the continuation of operations on this platform, drilling time can be controlled more effectively. We hope that these experiences and lessons learned can improve the drilling time of the Infill project in the remaining two wells on the SPD1 platform, Phase 1; However, the technical complexities and challenges of drilling these two wells should not be easily overlooked.
