The deputy director of production of the mother company specializing in the production of thermal power in the country said: during the period of the 13th government, more than 2 thousand megawatts have been added to the capacity of the country's thermal power plants.

According to Energy Press, Mohammad Ramezani, while visiting the process of preparing the units of the Bandar Abbas power plant to provide sustainable electricity at the peak of this summer, emphasized that the complete preparation of the power plants for the production of sustainable electricity is the main goal of the thermal power company, adding: Accordingly, every year After passing the summer season and the beginning of October, the repair season of thermal power plants has started and these preparations must be completed before the start of the hot days of the year; Because from the month of June, with the increase in electricity consumption in the country, the power plants must be fully prepared to respond to the consumption load of this period.
Emphasizing that 94% of the country’s electricity production is the responsibility of thermal power plants, he emphasized: In this regard, since October last year, more than 103,000 megawatts of repair and preparation programs for thermal power plants have been implemented for sustainable electricity production during this summer’s peak. At the end of these measures, while setting a new record in the field of thermal power generation unit repairs, we will see more preparedness of the country’s power plants to provide energy for the hot days of this year.
