Increase of 560 million cubic meters of sweet gas production in South Pars

According to Energy Press, citing South Pars Gas Complex Company, Abdolrahman Salehi said: This increase in production in 1404 was achieved through careful planning, implementation of feed management projects, and maximum utilization of the capacity of inter-refinery transmission lines.
Referring to the key role of feed management in the sustainability of the country’s gas production, he added: This year, two strategic measures, including the operation of the transmission line between the 11th and 12th refineries and targeted feed management at Site 1, added a total of more than 560 million cubic meters of gas from this complex to the country’s production, which played a significant role in strengthening the national gas network.
Operation of the transmission line from the 11th to the 12th refinery
Describing the first strategic measure, the head of coordination and supervision of production at South Pars Gas Complex Company stated: After conducting initial tests and feasibility studies, the transmission line between the 11th and 12th refineries was operated for the first time, which resulted in an increase of more than 110 million cubic meters of sweet gas production at the complex.
Salehi continued: “The timely exploitation of this infrastructure created significant added value for the country’s gas industry.”
He named the second key measure as feed management through inter-refinery transmission lines at Site 1 and said: “With the implementation of this plan, more than 450 million cubic meters were added to sweet gas production.”
Maintaining feed from platforms while performing repairs
The head of production coordination and supervision at South Pars Gas Complex Company continued: “During major repairs or emergency situations, part of the feed received from the platforms is reduced and production drops, but with the coordination made, the feed from the platforms was maintained without reduction and transferred to the sixth, seventh, and eighth refineries through inter-refinery transmission lines, and after processing, it was injected into the national grid.
