Increase of 3 million cubic meters of gas supply to power plants

According to Energy Press, gas supply to the country’s power plants is being carried out this year while the average air temperature is lower than last year, and several precipitation systems entered the country in November, and we even witnessed snowfall in some parts of the country.
On the other hand, new subscribers are added to the country’s gas subscribers every year, which is why gas supply to the household sector is increasing.
However, gas supply to power plants has not decreased, and the National Iranian Gas Company, considering the priority of gas supply to the household sector, always has gas transmission to power plants on its agenda.
The average gas consumption in the household, commercial, and non-major industries sectors in the last week of November was 455 million cubic meters per day.
