Increase in the country’s peak electricity demand compared to last year

According to Energy Press, the country’s peak electricity demand in the 49th week of this year reached 47,155 megawatts on Monday (February 11). This amount of electricity consumption in the same period last year was 44,693 megawatts, which is an increase of 5.51 percent this year.
According to this report, the amount of electricity consumption on the mentioned day was 987,000 megawatt-hours, which is an increase of 5.39 percent compared to the same period last year.
Also, the growth in electricity demand since the beginning of this year has been reported to be 4.96 percent.
According to this report, the average weighted temperature of the country on the said day was 8.56 degrees Celsius, which is an increase of 1.2 degrees compared to the same day last year.
