Increase in the country’s gas capacity by 220 million cubic meters
An official said: "With an investment of $8 billion in 202 gas fields, the country's gas capacity will increase to 220 million cubic meters and the problems of gas shortages in the winter season will be resolved."

According to Energy Press, Ahmad Mahdavi Abhari, Secretary General of the Iranian Petrochemical Industry Employers’ Association, said in a television interview today (Wednesday, July 25) referring to the activity of the country’s petrochemical industry in recent days: The petrochemical industry is one of the important industries and the mother of the country’s economy, on which many downstream industries such as plastics, rubber, packaging, agriculture, textiles and health depend. Any disruption in this industry can cause problems for a chain of industries.
He added: The petrochemical industry is an alchemy that converts raw materials into value-added materials, and in the material lives of humans, from offices and homes to various centers, there is no trace of the products of this industry.
Referring to the recent attacks by the Zionist regime, Mahdavi said: With intelligent management and full observance of safety precautions, we were able to control the risks arising from fires in hydrocarbon resources. This management ensured that even in difficult circumstances, there was no disruption in the supply of raw materials to downstream industries such as packaging, agriculture, plastics, and detergents.
The Secretary General of the Petrochemical Industry Employers’ Association continued: During the two days of the commodity exchange’s closure last week, the supply of products was moved to other days, and for this reason, downstream industries had no problems in obtaining raw materials.
Supply of 160,000 tons of petrochemical products on the commodity exchange
He said: In the week ending June 13, 112,000 tons of products were supplied on the commodity exchange, while in the week ending July 24, this figure increased to 160,000 tons. This indicates that the needs of downstream industries are fully met and production continues.
