Increase in gasoline production by 10 million liters in the country

According to Energy Press, Mohammad Sadeq Azimifar stated at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Smart Management of the Country’s Fuel Supply Chain that approximately 100 billion liters of products are produced in the country annually, with a value of $55 billion. He stated: “After the Islamic Revolution, the country’s gasoline production has increased 6 to 7 times and oil and gas production has increased 5 times.” Stating that we have had good successes in the field of production and development of refinery capacity, he said: “Due to the growth of consumption, the paradigm of subsidized product supply has continued to be the dominant paradigm. This has caused us to be caught in a fuel and energy imbalance, and the oil industry has been put under pressure.”
