In order to reduce electricity consumption, working hours in Iran start at 6 am
According to Energy Press, the spokesperson of the electricity industry said: Based on the decision of the Cabinet and with the aim of managing electricity consumption, the working hours of offices will change from June 15 to September 15.
According to ISNA, Mustafa Rajabi Mashhadi stated: “For changing the working hours of the offices, we have the resolution of the Cabinet last year, which is still applicable and will be implemented this year as well, according to which the working hours of the offices will be changed from June 15 to September 15.”
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Energy, based on last year’s resolution of the Council of Ministers and in order to manage electricity consumption in the hot season of the year, the working hours of the offices were changed to 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
