The chairman of the board of directors of the syndicate of electricity producing companies said: until 2035, the amount of electricity imbalance will reach 37 thousand megawatts.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Syndicate of Electricity Generating Companies told Ghazash Energy Press: Currently, the amount of electricity consumption in the country has exceeded 77,000 megawatts, and the amount of imbalance has been recorded over 17,000 megawatts.

By 2035, the electricity imbalance will reach 37,000 megawatts, and considering the growth in consumption that we will have in the next 10 years; This number is one third of the country’s electricity consumption, and it is a dangerous idea that one third of the country’s electricity needs are not aligned.
