Improving the safety level of Asaluyeh petrochemical plants
The Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Passive Defense at the National Petrochemical Industries Company announced the identification of high-risk petrochemical areas and tanks in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (Asalovia) and said: "A project to improve the safety level of tanks in this area is being implemented."

According to Energy Press, citing the National Petrochemical Industries Company, Davoud Emadi stated during a visit to Damavand Energy Assaluyeh Company: Improving the safety situation and reliable firefighting water network in the second phase of the petrochemical plants of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone is of great importance due to the high density of facilities and the large volume of storage tanks in this area, and is considered a priority program of the HSE management of the National Petrochemical Industries Company.
He pointed out that the project to improve the safety level of tanks in the Pars Assaluyeh region is being implemented, adding: Tanks and high-risk areas have been identified and the necessary measures to increase their safety and security are on the agenda of petrochemical companies.
The Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Passive Defense at the National Petrochemical Industries Company considered Damavand Energy Assaluyeh Company a strength and encouragement for the petrochemical industry, and said: “Due to its utility nature, this company plays an important role in ensuring the safety and sustainability of production of regional companies, and with its actions, it has improved the level of safety and environmental conditions in the second phase of the petrochemicals in the Pars region.”
