Imported premium gasoline is offered on the energy exchange

According to Energy Press, Mohammad Sadeq Azimifar, in response to the question of whether there is a plan to supply energy carriers, especially gasoline, on the energy exchange, said: “Within the framework of the program to import and supply super gasoline, through private sector resources, one of the mechanisms considered is to supply this type of gasoline through the energy exchange.”
Explaining this issue, he announced: “Super gasoline importers can supply their gasoline through the energy exchange using the infrastructure and capacity of the capital market.”
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company explained: “For this issue, meetings were held with the CEO of the energy exchange and it was requested that the necessary infrastructure be provided for this so that we can use the capacity of the energy exchange efficiently.”
